About this policy

This policy covers Heat Planner Pro, also displayed as Heat Window, for iPhone and iPad. 4AI Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş., Ankara, Türkiye, is responsible for the app service and the personal data described here. No app account is required.

Your plans stay on your device

Saved places, activity labels, start times, plans, forecast snapshots, drafts and settings are stored locally. We do not upload your saved plans or backup files to our servers. The app has no account-based cloud plan synchronization. Operating-system backups depend on your device settings.

A minimal Preview-use record is stored locally and mirrored in the device Keychain. It records that the one-time allowance has been used. Deleting plans or importing a backup does not reset it; it may survive an ordinary reinstall. It is not synced by the app.

Weather requests and approximate location

When you request a forecast, approximate coordinates rounded to 0.01° are sent through our Cloudflare-hosted gateway to Open-Meteo. Place searches send the city or postal search text you enter. Manual location search is available without location permission. These requests do not include your saved activity labels, plan history or backup files.

Cloudflare receives an IP address and normal HTTPS request metadata to deliver and protect the service. Our gateway stores a daily salted hash of the IP address with rate-limit counters, rather than a raw IP address in its application storage. This is pseudonymous data, not a promise of anonymity.

Our bounded cache reuses weather responses for 30 minutes and search responses for up to one day. Cached results can contain coordinates and place names. Expired entries and daily security counters are cleared by scheduled cleanup; a cache entry may remain until the next daily cleanup after expiry. Infrastructure and provider retention are governed by their own policies.

Purchases and subscription status

Apple handles App Store payments. RevenueCat processes an app-generated customer identifier, product and transaction information, subscription status and technical app/device information to validate purchases and restoration. We do not receive your payment-card details. The app caches verified entitlement status for access decisions.

The app includes no advertising, cross-app tracking, product-analytics SDK, remote push SDK or HealthKit integration. It does not send your weather coordinates or saved plans to RevenueCat as custom customer attributes.

Permissions, exports and deletion

Location is requested when you choose Use My Location, for a foreground fix only. Notification permission enables the local reminders you choose. Photo permission is add-only when you save an image; we do not read your photo library. Change these permissions in iOS Settings.

Exporting or sharing sends only the content you choose to the destination you select. That destination controls its copy. In Settings → Data and privacy, you can export a raw backup, import and replace local data, or delete local data. Deletion removes app-owned records and recovery backups and cancels pending reminders, but retains the minimal Preview-use record. It does not delete exports stored elsewhere or cancel an Apple subscription.

Support, legal bases and your rights

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal or location details. We keep support correspondence only as needed to handle your request, resolve related issues and meet legal obligations. Purchase providers may retain transaction records for their own legal obligations.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process service and purchase information to provide the service you request, security and support information for legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, information required by law to meet legal obligations, and optional permission-based features with your authorization. Permissions can be withdrawn in device settings.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data we hold, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact support to exercise your rights; we may need proportionate information to verify the request. We cannot retrieve records stored only on your device.

Service providers may process information outside your country. Applicable data-protection safeguards and provider agreements govern those transfers. The app is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal data.

This website and policy updates

These web pages remember your language preference in browser storage and use Google-hosted fonts. Website hosting receives ordinary request metadata. See the Labs website privacy notice for website processing. We update the date above when this app policy changes.
